Comitragic scenes from the sets of a show

“Formerly, there was a structure on/up stage that was used both as a prop and as a dressing room for the actors. The structure was called skene.”

In this work, ‘skene’ is a thematic and concrete place that opens up in the performance in an ambiguous way: ‘scene’ refers to a physical and theatrical scene and also to the space between the stage and the surrounding reality.  

Two performers stick to the essence of performance at the amphitheatre of Viirus. The space-time of the stage opens up to them both as a place of ruin and perpetual potential.
